As part of a well-rounded Christian education, Covenant Christian School provides athletic programs for boys and girls grades 7-12. Covenant athletics programs stress the importance of faith, character and sportsmanship. Our competitive sports teams include cross country, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball, tennis and track. Covenant Christian School earned back to back state boys basketball championships in 1A in 2022 and 2023 and state runner up in 2024. Girls Volleyball was the state runner up in 2022. Boys tennis was the state runner up in 2024. 

Covenant Christian School competes as a Class 2A in basketball and volleyball. In all other sports, Covenant competes in 1A and is a member of the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA).
